Price
£2.50 a driver, not £4.00
TachoAssist Business is a fixed £2.50 for each driver analysed in the month, with vehicles and vehicle unit (VU) analysis included and no VAT charged. Tachogram’s pricing page shows Business at £4.00 per driver per month, with its pound prices described as approximate and payment taken in euros (as published on tachogram.com, 22 October 2026).
Hardware
No reader to buy from us
The TachoAssist Card Reader is free on Windows and Android and saves a driver card to a .ddd file with any standard USB smart-card reader. Readers like that sell on Amazon UK for about £8 to £18. Tachogram sells its own card readers separately from the subscription (as published on tachogram.com, 22 October 2026); its reader was listed on Amazon UK at £24.99 on 21 October 2026.
Rules
GB and EU rules in one workspace
EU and assimilated GB drivers’ hours, Working Time (WTD), the Mobility Package with border crossings, and the national fine catalogues of the UK and all 27 EU member states. Domestic and international work are checked in the same place. Tachogram’s pricing page lists “EU rule compliance & infringement analysis” (as published on tachogram.com, 22 October 2026).
Debriefs and inspections
Debriefs signed on the phone
Send a driver debrief in four clicks, with an instruction for each rule broken. The driver reads it, can explain what happened and signs with a finger in the Companion app. For an inspection, the evidence pack puts the original files with their checksums, the Infringement report with notes and the stored attestations into one ZIP.
Your drivers
A Companion app for every driver
Drivers open the Companion in their phone’s browser from an invitation link, with nothing to install. They upload their card files, see their own infringements with guidance and sign their debriefs; in UK and Irish workspaces they also send the daily walkaround check. It is included in the Business plan.
Trial and billing
Try it with no payment card
The 14-day trial needs no payment card details and there is no minimum term. After it, you pay only for the drivers whose data you analyse that month: an agency driver who covers a fortnight in March is on the March bill, not on April’s.
