What information is in a Vehicle Unit .DDD file?
Depending on the tachograph and download, a VU file can include vehicle and tachograph identity, detected drivers, activity, events, faults, odometer records, downloads and recorded GNSS or border-crossing points.
Does a Vehicle Unit file show where a vehicle was?
Where compatible records are present, TachoAssist can plot recorded locations and border-crossing events from the uploaded VU file on a map. This is historical tachograph data, not live tracking.
Which TachoAssist plan supports VU files?
The Business plan supports driver-card and Vehicle Unit files, fleet functions, API upload/import and archiving for £2.50 including VAT per unique driver used in each monthly billing period.
