TachoAssist Driver
Everything you need to check your own driver card, screen by screen, on a computer and on a phone.
Pick your driver card file (.ddd) or a ZIP, or drag it onto the page.
Check the file and start the analysis.
After “View results” your analysis opens on Home.
Upload every new download of your card the same way.
Install TachoAssist Card Reader from the Microsoft Store. Or download the ZIP: there is no installer, you unzip it and run the app.
Sign in with the same account you use in the browser.
Plug in a USB smart-card reader and insert your driver card. Reading starts by itself.
The file goes to TachoAssist on its own.

The app has a card reader built in: connect a USB reader to the phone and insert the card.
Download the card straight from the tachograph — the card stays in it.

Each infringement with its rule, its date and an explanation.
The menu is at the top of Home.
Choose the document language for every report from this menu, and the extra sections of the infringement report.
Pick the report, then PDF or Excel and the period.
The document is also kept in Recent reports.
The activity, summary and working time reports work the same way; the activity report can add “Time by country and activity log”. For any period, use Reports.
A day with nothing on your card says “Mark this day”. Click it.
Pick Day off, Leave or Sick, then Save.
For time the card could not see, say whether you were resting, doing other work or available.
Export the period as a PDF or a CSV file.
For a period with no card data, create the attestation and hand it to your employer.

Home shows three ways to add your card: a file, the USB reader or Bluetooth.
The language is in Settings — the gear at the top.
The reader is under Uploads.
Connect the USB reader (an OTG adapter works) and insert the card.
The card is read and uploaded. The analysis follows in a moment.
Upload file works the same way, with a .ddd file from your phone.

Start pairing on the tachograph, then pick it from the list.
Check that the 6-digit code is the same on both screens and confirm on both.
Pick the slot your card is in.
Keep the phone near the tachograph until it finishes.
The file is in TachoAssist.
The card stays in the tachograph. It works with smart tachographs version 2 that print “GEN2 v2”.
